Mr. Clean

It seems to be getting harder and harder to find time to write. The kids seem to keep me so busy these days, moments to myself are harder and harder to come by. It used to be that they would both be busy doing something, and I could sneak away for a few minutes to check my e-mail. Lately though, I can't leave Wyatt alone for even a second without him getting into something. As I was sitting down to type this, I realized how quiet it had gotten, and sure enough, he was busy getting into trouble...his new favorite pastime, playing IN the toilet.

Any chance he can get, he sneaks in there and plays in the water. I keep finding things in the toilet that shouldn't be there. First, he went fishing with a little Magna Doodle by the pen string. Then, a cup emptying toilet water onto our new bathroom floor. Then, I found the toilet bolt covers in the bottom of the toilet. Hmmm, what else? Bathtub toys, Mike from Monster's Inc., and just yesterday, a calculator. So, we will be getting some toilet locks now. We were trying to avoid that, since Noah has to be able to get to the potty quickly, but I guess Wyatt's safety should probably come first. AND I am SICK of fishing things out of the toilet!!

He has also been really crabby this week. His antibiotics are done again, and I am worried that maybe the ear infection still isn't gone. I tried to check for new teeth trying to get through yesterday, but he makes it hard, biting my finger as hard as he can. So, who knows? We'll give the crabbiness a couple more days before I will call the doctor again.

On a happier note, he is trying to talk more. He tries to communicate, although most of the time it is just lots of babbling that we can't understand. He finally can say "da-da," even though it still comes with much prodding! His new favorite seems to be "hiyo" for hello. It is so adorable. My camera can take video, and I got it recorded yesterday. I think I'll try to post it, not sure if it will work.

Noah is doing great. He helped Daddy wash the cars this weekend and had to show off the shiny cars to Mommy when they were finished. He was so proud of their work, and so excited to tell me all about it.

Well, time to go rescue Wyatt from another mess. He is crawling into and out of the stroller in the front hall, and is trying to get into the basket underneath now! What am I going to do with him?
