Tearing out our master bathroom, which is the size of a closet, and putting it back together! I think everything was original to the house, except for the lovely golf-themed wallpaper, border, and bright green turf colored blinds!! Not exactly our taste.
Last weekend, my Dad tore it out with us, and this weekend we are attempting to put it back together. I must say it is looking a little better than this right now. The beautiful 80's vinyl floor is gone, and the shower stall is in. Slowly but surely it will be a nice place to be!! I'll make sure to post pictures when it is finished.
Wyatt has been wanting to help, and be part of everything that is going on. He is going to be a little Mr. Fix-It like his PaPa one day. For now, he is happy just watching or holding the dustpan!

Noah, other than helping me clean wallpaper glue off the walls one day, has been keeping his distance from the room and noise. Occasionally he peeks in and says it looks "cool." So funny when little kids start to use those words, not exactly knowing what to do with them!!

In just two days, Jeff is leaving for Japan to visit his brother, Josh. I am starting to get that nervous feeling, kind of like when I had my first day alone with the kids after giving birth to them! Don't know why, but being alone with the two of them for seven days makes me a little afraid...not about taking care of them, but for my own sanity! I'm sure we'll be fine, and my parents will be back next weekend to work on the bathroom and help move my sister into a new apartment. So, I'll have a little break in the middle of it. As long as we can find enough fun stuff to do, and they are good about going to bed, I'll be fine.
I guess it is time to stop typing and check on how things are going. Will update again when I get the chance. I am sure I will enjoy having some nice quiet evenings alone in the next week!
