Our Cool Outing

So today was supposed to be the warmest day of the week at a whopping 50 degrees. When the thermometer hit 47, I decided that we would go out for a walk. Noah wanted to walk to the playground in our neighborhood (about a 10 minute walk), so I said okay. We got a few minutes away from our house, and I realized that 47 isn't really as warm as I remember it being, especially when it is cloudy! So, I told Noah maybe we could go to the playground another day or maybe we should go back home and dress a little warmer. Well, no, that just wouldn't work with a three year old who's mind was made up to go play today! We kept walking to the playground. They had a great time, but hands and faces were all very chilly by the time we got there. Fifteen minutes later we were on our way back. Of course, Noah decided he didn't want to walk, and I only brought my single stroller. With the help of Cheerios, Noah and Wyatt happily rode home together smooshed like little sardines...which gave me the perfect Kodak moment!
