How can they be so CUTE?

They are so sweet in pictures!

They both have colds again. Poor Wyatt, conked out immediately at bedtime yesterday. He barely ate anything yesterday and had a runny nose, and almost fell asleep in his highchair at dinner. But, he was awake again around 11:30 crying. He was awake whimpering off and on until about midnight, so we finally decided to give him some medicine and rock with him. Jeff tried first, but needed to get to bed for work. I rocked with him until about 1:30, when he finally fell back to sleep. Today, he is pretty grumpy and clingy. He took a little nap on me this morning, which is pretty unusual for him. And right now, he is taking another nap in his crib. Unfortunately, I will probably have to wake him up soon to go pick up Noah from school.

Noah is in denial that he has a cold. He gets mad at me whenever I ask him to cover his mouth when he coughs so he doesn't spread his germs. He says, "Mommy, I don't have ANY germs. I am not cold!" Hopefully we will get rid of this one quickly since his birthday and party are next week.

We have had a little dilemma here with how to celebrate Noah's birthday. A lot of the kids at preschool are having birthday parties outside of school. Some haven't. His teacher believes in celebrating everyone's 'special' day at school, and gives the parents the option to provide special treats for their day. Well, we couldn't decide what to do. Do we have a friend party somewhere?? We are having a family party next Saturday, and his birthday happens to be on Thursday when he has school. We decided to just have a party with goodie bags, party hats, and cupcakes at school with his friends. I don't know if I am just being selfish, but I'm not quite ready for the big friend party thing yet. I guess I figure there are plenty more years for birthday parties with friends. Now Wyatt may be another story, seeing his brother have friend parties, when he turns 4.

Time to get ready to pick Noah up from school, and yes, the poor sick baby is still sleeping. Too bad I can't leave him home alone...he'd never notice I was gone. The police on the other hand....
