Today was Wyatt's one year doctor's appointment. That went well, and his infected lymph node is better! :) We also discovered that one of his top molars has popped through! I had NO idea. I haven't been poking in his mouth lately because he has death grip jaws! He bites and won't let go. Poor Noah!!! :) After much debate and reassurance, Noah and Wyatt both got their flu shots today. Supposedly, if you have an egg allergy, you are not supposed to get the flu shot. Our Dr. reassured me that it is very rare to have any kind of a reaction even with the allergy, so I am trusting her and did it. I am just SO tired of being sick at our house, and if I can prevent the flu, I am going to do anything in my power to stop it!! Noah did great, he didn't even cry! I was so proud of him. Poor Wyatt had to have his MMR and chicken pox vaccine too. Three shots later and some Mommy snuggles and he was fine. Then it was my turn. I figured if they were getting shots, I should quit putting off my flu shot (it is free for hospital employees). We drove over to the hospital, and I got mine. Noah even offered to hold my hand, and told me it was OK if I needed to cry! He is so sweet sometimes! :) I didn't cry though! :) Unfortunately for them, Noah and Wyatt both have to have a second round of flu vaccines in a month. Don't know why they can't make it into one shot for them, my poor babies!
By the way, Wyatt is now 19 lbs 6 oz, and 31 1/2 inches!! He gained 1 1/2 lbs and grew 2 1/2 inches in 3 months!! He is now in the 5th% for weight, and 93% for height! No concern about his growth though, he is just STRETCHING. We go to the allergist on Wednesday for allergy testing on Wyatt, so wish us luck. Keep your fingers crossed that maybe he won't be allergic like his brother! It is possible. I'll keep you all updated when we find out!
