We are still here!

I guess I underestimated how busy my life would now be! Blogging does not really fit in, but I will try my best to update every now and then. I was informed (by my Mom and my husband) that my blog was looking all crazy, so I think I have fixed it up a bit! :) Some time I need to go back and write the birth story and tell about our summer...that will have to be another day!!

We are doing great here. Lily is such a great baby, and lots of fun. She is already 5 months old and starting to babble and play. She LOVES her big brothers, and totally has them in love with her. I love to see how much they all love each other. It melts my heart and reminds me of why I love having my babies.

Noah started 2nd grade, and loves it. He says it is his favorite so far!

Wyatt began his second year of preschool, and thankfully thinks it is fun. Last year it was a battle every school day, even though he would have a great time once he was there. He is growing up so much too.

Our little girl at 5 months:
  • loves to roll and play on a blanket on the floor, although she never ends up staying on the blanket! You can roll from your back to your tummy very easily, but tummy to back is usually done on accident.
  • loves to babble - currents favorite noises are ba-ba-ba, da-da-da, do-ah, boo-boo-boo, ma-ma-ma (when she is crying), you also love squealing.
  • has learned to laugh, especially while being tickled on your neck and chest, while Noah nuzzles your belly, while Daddy makes goofy noises and faces at you! We LOVE your deep belly laughs.
  • like bathtime, and have learned how to splash and make a big mess.
  • like the exersaucer and being upright.
  • LOVE to be outside and LOVE to people watch!
  • have the best ear to ear smile, and love to smile for most anybody.
  • won't take naps! You love to sleep while nursing, which you also love to do!
  • are a good sleeper at night...usually around 8-9 hours...last night you slept for 12!! I had to check on you to make sure you were okay.
  • are wearing size 2 diapers and mostly size 3-6 month clothes.
  • this month you got to fly on an airplane to California, go to a wedding, and see the ocean. You were such a good traveler.
  • you love to put your arms around Mommy's neck when I pick you up, and play with the hair on the back of my neck. If my hair is up, you pull a section of it out so you can hold on. I LOVE this! (Your brother (which one?) did this too!) You still love to play with your own hair, especially when you are tired.
  • you light up when your brothers are around. When I ask "where is Wyatt" or "where is Noah," you look for them, and I'm starting to think you really know who is who. They love to give you hugs and kisses, make you laugh and smile, and getting their morning and night smiles from you! Wyatt even gets jealous if you are paying more attention to Noah than him. I tell him that he gets to be with you all day while Noah is at school. I hope all of you always love being with each other, even when you all grow up.
  • love to walk around in the "Daddy perch," facing forward, lounging in the crook of Daddy's elbow so you can see what is going on.
  • have sensitive skin and can only wear one kind of diapers. You also react when Mommy has any dairy, so I am now dairy and nut-free again.
I could go on and on, but she is needing me right now! We are so blessed to have this beautiful girl in our lives, and can't wait to watch her grow. What did we ever do without her??
