When will it end??

Noah and Wyatt still have their colds. How long can they go on? Noah developed a nasty cough, along with his runny nose yesterday evening, and Wyatt is still just a constant faucet of snot! We have had this cold since the beginning of January. It seems to really enjoy it here at our exciting home! I keep wondering if I should be doing something about it, but neither of them has a fever or is acting too rundown, besides me!! So, I guess it is just running its' very, very, VERY long course. I am sick of SNOT!!!

We haven't been very busy here lately, hence the lack of updates. I had to take an 8 hour computer class on Monday for work, so Grammy came to watch the boys for the day. They had lots of fun with her, and I also enjoyed having someone else around to entertain them for a little while. There is only so much entertaining one person can do! I wish that we were either having a normal winter where there is snow on the ground, or it would stay warm (and dry) for a little longer, so the kids could get out of the house a little more. Noah keeps telling me he wishes it would snow...I guess maybe he did get a little bit of my Minnesota blood after all. Today it is warm, low 50's, but rainy. It's supposed to rain tomorrow again, and then get cold and snow on Saturday. I LOVE Ohio weather! :P

Wyatt is getting speedy on his feet. He is practically running now, and is always on the go. He doesn't say too much yet though, just a lot of grunts and noises. He will be 14 months in just another week! It amazes me how quickly it is going with a second child.

For Noah, our big decision right now is what to sign up for for preschool next year (although I think we have decided). Early registration starts next week. We are going to stay at the same preschool, and our choices for classes are 3 half days, 2 full days, or 3 full days a week. I don't know that Noah (or I) am ready for full days yet. Even when he goes to kindergarten, it will be 5 half days. So, I think we will be going with the half days, sticking with afternoons (since I am not a morning person!). Then our next decision is whether or not to stick with the same teacher. His teacher is teaching some of the half day 4 year old classes next year, and I am trying to decide if that would be okay for him to have the same teacher two years in a row. If anyone has any thoughts, please let me know. We love her, and Noah loves her, she loves him. She already knows all about his allergies, so that is a plus. But, negatives, I don't know if it is good for him to have the same teacher, when never again will that be able to happen. I don't want him to get too attached. I don't know, he just does SO well with her, and with as shy as he is, anyone who can get him out of his shell gets points in my book!

Well, Wyatt is needing my attention. Time to go tend to the wild man!!

Sounds as though Noah is doing well with his teacher....My vote is to stick with the situation that's working!

Cute photos of the new toy!

Go with who you are comfortable with...this is a unique situation and may never present itself again, like you said...and it is a real plus that she is well aware of all of his allergies already. That will make an easier transition for him. Believe me, if Andrew could have his Pre-K teacher in Kindergarten, I would be in heaven! You will be very surprised at the differences in his preschool experiences next year and what he will accomplish there...very different from his year as a three-year-old!

Ahhh the box...always a hit with the little ones! Can't go wrong with that!
