Not much happening here these days. I am ready for spring to arrive. Too much time indoors lately with two antsy little boys! And TOO much TV watching has been going on!! There's only so much you can find to do to keep them entertained everyday. And when it is just cold, with no snow to be found all winter long, going outside just isn't that fun!
Jeff and I decided to take the kids to the library a couple of weeks ago. We spent some time in the children's book section, where Noah and Wyatt both had a good time and picked out some books to take home. Then, we made the mistake of letting Noah go look at the movies! Now it is an obsession. New movies every three days, what could be better to a three year old?!? So, our latest movie goes back on Tuesday, and I am going to try to put an end to it. I'm sure that will go over well-ha ha! :) Sad that we may have to avoid the library because of this for a while. He seems to have completely forgotten that the library has BOOKS!
Jeff had the kids for the weekend, since I spent it working and sleeping. On Saturday, Uncle Jess and Aunt Megan were visiting, which was great entertainment and a change of pace for the kids. But Sunday, Jeff was alone with the two of them, and they were driving him nuts by mid-morning. So he took them out to the mall, where they played in the little kid space. I guess it went well, and helped Jeff avoid complete insanity!!
I took them to a playground last week before preschool one day when the temperature hit the big 4-0. We were the only ones there, of course, all bundled up in our coats and hats. But they had a great time. So, yes, any time warmer weather would like to arrive, I (and my sanity) welcome it!
