Although I originally intended to create this blog as a place to journal my little boys' daily lives, I suppose it would also be a good place to let others follow along our journey with us. So, if that kind of thing interests you, I guess you can join us!
After 11 years together, Jeff and I know each other pretty well, and generally agree on most things. About a year ago when he suggested we make a site about the kids for our family and friends to see, I wasn't so sure about making our life public. It still kind of makes me nervous about keeping us anonymous, but really how interesting could our life be to most people. We are pretty "normal" people, living a pretty boring life! So, I hope that those of you who do tune in enjoy the updates. Hopefully I don't bore you to death!
The Bear: Since Noah blessed our lives in April of 2002, he has been "Noah-bear" to us. He is a sweet, but extremely stubborn 3 1/2 year old, whose curiousity about life amazes us everyday.
The Bug: Wyatt arrived into our family in December of 2004, and quickly became dubbed "Wyatt-bug." He is a busy, almost walking 11 month old, who keeps me running everyday.
The Mom: I (Kate) am finally an "almost" stay at home mom. When I am not home with the kids, I am working as a night shift postpartum nurse (although currently that is very little...24 hours a month!). Dealing with Noah's multiple food allergies and Wyatt's probable food allergies also consumes quite a bit of my energy. I feel like I am gaining some control over this with Noah, but with Wyatt it is just the beginning. But, if that is the least of their health concerns, I am quite happy!
The Dad: Jeff is finally in a job that he enjoys. I am so happy that he is content at what he is doing. It makes such a difference in the rest of his life, we are all much happier. He loves to get in any time he can with the boys. He's such a great Daddy.
There... a little overview of where our life stands right now. I can't wait to get started. Happy Thanksgiving to all!!
