Big News!

I have been SO bad at posting on my blog, and I do feel terrible about it. I thought that once I found out I was pregnant, I would get better at updating. Who was I kidding??

We had a wonderful Christmas spent with family. We were able to spend a whole week with my brother who was here from California for Christmas. The boys (including Jeff) all enjoyed spending time with him, of course, so did I! We all wish he lived closer. It was nice to spend time with both of our families, and as usual, the time went way too quickly. The boys were spoiled with gifts, like usual, and LOVE all of their new things! Thank you everyone. We had a week back at home before starting back at school today. I'd like to say we did all kinds of fun things, but really we just hung out at home, enjoying each others' company!

So, to my big news...I would guess that most people who still read my blog probably know this already, but for those who do not, here goes. We found out on the 30th that we are having a Baby Girl!! Can you believe it? We had our ultrasound and the baby is growing right as it should be, and everything appears to be healthy. And, the baby gave us multiple clear shots and appears to be a GIRL! Of course, until she comes out, it is not a 100% guarantee, but we'll take the 95% chance that she is a girl. We are all very happy and excited. Noah and Wyatt both seem to be excited to be having a little sister, and loved seeing her on the TV screen. We even got a picture of her sucking her thumb! So sweet. :)

It has surprised me how quickly this pregnancy is flying by, and how quickly May is coming. I have much to do to get ready to add another member to this family. So, I am already starting my nesting. This weekend I worked on moving all of Wyatt's clothes into the boys' shared room. They moved in together this summer, and love it. I spent the entire day on Saturday rearranging closets. Jeff helped me build the cube shelves and move big boxes of baby and kid clothes to the rooms they needed to be in. Then I figured out how to fit two kids clothes into the space where one kid's clothes used to be. I am very pleased with the results, and the boys seem to love it too. I'll have to take a picture of their new and improved closet sometime! Next step is sorting baby clothes and deciding what I can use for a baby girl! :) How fun!!

Well, off to do some more work around here before Noah gets back from his first day back at school.
