New School Year!

Sorry I have not updated for so long...and now I really only have time for a quick update. We've been so busy around here!

Noah started FIRST grade on Wednesday, and he loves it! We met with his teacher on Monday to discuss Noah's nut allergies and plans for lunch and other food containing events. Then Tuesday, he had his meet the teacher open house at the school, where he got to find out who else was in his class and choose his desk! He really likes his new class, and despite not being in the same class with his best friend, Cooper, he has found new friends already and plays with Cooper everyday at recess. So glad he is happy!

On Thursday, our driveway was dug up. Yesterday it was poured. Then this morning they came and took off the framing and put topsoil around it and lined it. It looks amazing!!! Now this weekend we need to get it sealed! Of course, I am scheduled to work tonight and tomorrow night, so I guess I should say, Jeff will need to get it sealed this weekend! :)

On Friday, I also went to meet with the director of Wyatt's preschool and his two teachers to train them on Epi-Pen administration and go over his allergy action plan. They seemed very cautious and willing to make sure that Wyatt is safe. Wyatt was VERY shy, but everyone was SO nice. I think he will have a great year there. He starts next Wednesday.

We have also in the last couple weeks celebrated both my birthday and our 9th anniversary! Thankfully we were able to go out for my birthday with the help from a visit from Jeff's mom!! Thanks, Grammy! Eventually we will get out again for our anniversary date (thanks for the babysitting offer, Anne!).

So, that is what has been going on here, in a nutshell. Sorry so quick, but for now that is all I can do! Eventually I will get the back to school pictures uploaded to the computer and get those posted. Have a great Labor Day weekend everyone!! :)
