Our Mini-Vacation

Train Ride at the Zoo

So, last weekend, we went on a little vacation. Just us and the boys, and it was SO much fun! The kids had a blast, and we wonder why it is that we don't do this more often. We realized that we really haven't taken the kids on a vacation, and had really planned on trying to do something over the summer. Somehow, the summer got away from us. With a little planning, we got a little trip put together and managed to have a really great time!

We drove the two hours to Cincinnati, visited and stayed with friends, played all day at the Children's Museum, stayed at a hotel (big hit with the boys), swam in the hotel pool, and then spent an entire day at the Zoo. It was lots of fun, and Noah and Wyatt were really good! They enjoyed it all.

Thanks to "Uncle" Darin and Nancy for having all of us over on Friday night, and for entertaining our kids (and us too!). They loved the "jam session," and trying out your drums and guitars! I think we may have two rock stars in our household. :) Thank you too for the yummy ice cream! :)
