I am amazed at how quickly you are growing up. You suddenly have words
You are such a creative and imaginative little boy. You play pretend games all day long. You love cars and they go on grand adventures. You make everything talk to each other, including any food you are eating. Pretzels have great conversations! Noah's food is always very talkative too, which makes mealtimes quite amusing.
If I could only get you to eat more at dinner, like anything other than chicken nuggets, it would make our lives a little easier. You are SO picky, and dinner is a struggle almost nightly. If I serve you anything other than chicken nuggets or "butter noodles"(pasta with "safe"butter and seasoned salt), you scream and cry for the whole meal, and eat NOTHING! You are quite a stubborn little boy. Just like Noah, you are a tiny little two year old. You still only weigh about 27 pounds, although you have grown almost 2 inches since April!
Your stubborn streak makes me and your Daddy absolutely crazy! You meltdown if anyone tells you no about anything. You throw some pretty great temper tantrums!! You have recently become very good at hitting and kicking your brother. Thankfully, you have only bitten twice, and I hope you don't plan on continuing that! You spend a lot of time on the bad boy step lately, but are getting much better at saying you are sorry when you do something wrong.
But, you are also such a sweet boy! You LOVE to snuggle. If anyone holds you, you wrap your arms around them and nuzzle your head on their shoulder and just stay there, until they are ready to put you down or you are ready to be on the move again. I love this about you, and will definitely miss it when you are done. You still love to sit in the rocking chair with me. You readily tell Mommy, Daddy, and Noah that "I love you." And you are great about going "night-nights" every night.
Your favorite things:
You love your "urpies" - you have burp cloths that you've had with you since you were a baby, and we called them burpies. You have to have them anytime you are sleepy or get hurt. Recently I've noticed that you rub it between your thumb and pointer finger when you are getting sleepy, so cute!
You also love your little "Noopy" - a little Snoopy stuffed animal that sleeps with you every night.
You love to carry a toy with you anywhere we go. Usually it is a car or something you can hold in your hand, but occasionally it will be the BIG Magna Doodle or shape sorter. It is much easier to just let you take what you want to with us than fight with you about it!
You love books, and just recently decided that you like "reading" them to yourself. You take a book with you everyday for your nap, and happily lay in your crib reading to yourself. Your favorites lately have been "Where the Wild Things Are" and "Five Silly Monkeys." Have I mentioned that you LOVE playing in your crib when you wake up in the morning. Some mornings you are not ready to get out yet when I come in to get you! Thankfully, you are content in there still....we are so not ready to have you on the loose in a big boy bed!!
You love Daddy, and wake up asking,"Where's Daddy?" every day. You love giving him big hugs, and getting Daddy snuggles when he gets home from work.
You love tools. Papa built you and Noah a new fort on your swingset, and you were right in on all the action, tightening bolts, hammering nails, being Papa's helper. You love to help wash the cars. You like fixing anything, and have to be right there when anything is going on. You also have loved playing with all of the kitchen toys, making "deena (dinner)" for everybody.
You also love your big brother. Although you fight a lot of the time, having your best buddy and playmate around makes you so happy. You play with each other a lot, and have so much fun together. Mommy loves to see her two boys loving each other!
You have NO interest whatsoever in learning how to use the potty. For a while you would sit on the potty, but never actually used it. You usually just say "I toot" and "I all done." Someday soon we will get there!
You also love to sing. You can sing right along to all of you kid music and even to some of the songs Mommy and Daddy listen to (uh-oh) :) You love when Mommy sings "Twinkle, twinkly" to you before bed. You really like music, and request to listen to it by song when we are eating dinner or are in the car.
You are one amazing little boy, Wyatt. Mommy, Daddy, and Noah love you so much. We are having so much fun watching you grow up and become the goofy, fun-loving, strong-willed little boy you are! Happy 32 months!! :) We love you!

wow, it is so hard to believe that noah was this age when wyatt was born... has it gotten easier now that they are a little older?
No!! :)
Very cute!!! I agree about it not being much easier...sometimes you never know WHO is going to have the meltdown! But it is a fun journey, that is for sure!
I can totally RELATE about the chicken nuggets and noodles...we are on the same page with Matt right now! (Do popsicles count as a food group?!?!)
See you soon!

He has grown up to be soooo big and adorable! WOW! I still envision him as a tiny lil' baby!
Love this description of him...reminds me SO much of Thomas (Eliz's lil guy!). Maybe it is the second boy syndrome!
Love to you and your family!
