Busy, Busy...

Been busy lately and haven't had the chance to update in a while. I keep thinking that things will slow down at some point, but so far that isn't happening! We are now living in quite a mess. This week, my Dad and Aunt Suzanne drove a moving truck from Arizona to the northeast full of furniture and other memories from my grandparents' house. My grandma was just moved into the Alzheimer's unit at their care facility this summer from living independently. Although it is very sad, she is being well taken care of, and is getting some of her strength back. She would be happy to know that all of her things are now being passed along to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren to enjoy!!

So, this week, I have been rearranging furniture and moving items into new homes, and our house is in complete chaos right now! I decided to take a little break in my organizing to check my e-mail, update my blog, etc.

The kids are plopped in front of the TV watching Curious George right now. Noah had a fun day at school today, but is exhausted. And Wyatt didn't take a nap either. So, vegging in front of the TV seemed like a pretty good option to (hopefully) avoid any major meltdowns from either one of them!! Wyatt has been having at least 2 major tantrums daily these days, usually more. He has been spending lots of time on the "bad boy step" too. He has been talking a lot more lately, but doesn't seem to be able to communicate at the right times, like when he needs something! I am getting better at anticipating when the meltdown is about to occur, but still don't seem to fix the problem fast enough. Oh the joys of toddlerhood!

Time to get back to my cleaning. Here are some pics from our week.

Curious George? Oh man, I wanna see that movie! I saw a few minutes of it on the plane...it looked SO freaking mellow. I bet it goes nicely with some Pink Floyd in the background...

Oh and tell Wyatt I know exactly how it feels to WANT to say something but not be able to say it! It happens to me everyday here in Japan!

Oh, I hope I don't have to sit on the "bad boy step" too often when I get to that age too.
I've been throwing tantrums too, but only when I don't want to go to bed and Mummy makes me.
